what an amazing day. i may not like new york too much, but today i loved it. a nice early afternoon train ride with rawle, meeting up with chad and kevin, pizza and coffee, and the new pornographers (with a BEARDED carl newman!) in battery park! being with some of my favorite people, seeing my favorite band… if this could happen every day, i would be the happiest girl in the world.
we even got back to philly in time to watch hall and oates preform on the art museum steps (although we watched it from the comfort and rain free living room of my apartment). im bummed they didnt play “one on one”, and the fireworks got canceled because of the stormy weather, but who cares….i saw carl newman today.
